I have two grandkids. Spencer is going into 4th grade, and Mason will be starting all day, everyday kdgn. Spencer was dreading school this year because another kid had told him that his teacher is mean.Last night they went to an open house where they met their teachers. Spencer's teacher greeted him with, "Spencer, I was so happy to see that you're in my class. I had you in computer, and you're such a good boy." Big score for the teacher! Now Spencer thinks she's nice.
Mason went to meet his teacher. The boys dad is a fireman, and the teacher knows that. She said, "Mason, I remember you. You're Spencer's brother. We're planning to take a field trip to a fire station. Do you know where one is?" Mason happily told her that his dad is a fireman, and there's a station by his house. The teacher then asked him if he could help them find the fire station when they take the field trip.
What a way to get kids started off on the right foot!

Mason was pretty excited. His golden birthday! Just a few days previous, he fell on his front tooth, and it turned black. The dentist said the tooth is bruised, and should get better. It looks kind of funny when he smiles,
